My in-laws are flying in for a visit at the end of this week and I’m hiring a cleaning person to come in and DEEP CLEAN. I’ve never done this before but I am SUPER excited about it. It completely takes away the stressful part of having guests. I can’t believe I’d never thought to do this before. But I guess I never needed to before. It’s easy to dedicate a day to cleaning when you don’t have a new little needy creature in your house.

I'm Adrian (chef, food journalist, 30), I'm married to Matt (composer for modern dance and creator of beautiful things). We met while living in Brooklyn (at a rooftop BBQ, we're effortlessly hip) and currently reside in San Jose, CA! We have been calling each other Mama Bear and Papa Bear for almost as long as we've been together (sickening, I know), but soon we'll be a real Mama and Papa. I'm due May 1, 2013!
